Sweet Treats that Help Stay me on Track Without Feeling Like I’m on a Diet

One of the most challenging areas of figuring out this healthy eating thing for me was trying to figure out how to stay away from sweets. When I stopped trying to stay away from them and figured out how have them it was a game changer for me. This doesn’t mean I don’t indulge every once in a while with a nice hot fudge sundae or one of my moms homemade chocolate chip cookies but let’s be real here, to keep myself healthy and comfortable in my pants it’s really a good idea if I keep those as a once in a while thing. Below you can find a little collection of some of the ways I feed my sweet tooth.

Layered Berries

Been a night time favorite for years. Layer berries (I use frozen triple berry blend & lately have been on a raspberry kick), yogurt (dannon light and fit vanilla use to my fave for this but I have recently switched to plain greek), some sort of crunchies (I like the aldi’s granola with dark chocolate chunks), top with tru whip or cool whip and little drizzle of chocolate syrup!
